Yes. Shipsdek adheres well to most molded in non-skids and non-skid paints if Properly cleaned and applied. 

As with any flooring product, darker colors will become warmer in the sun.
However, PE Foam can be up to 30° cooler than marine grade carpet. Thanks to the closed-cell properties of PE, heat associated with any color dissipates quickly.

Shipsdek is one of the most stain resistant materials available in the industry.
While most stains come out of shipsdek, the sooner you clean your floor the easier the stains will release. 

PMany customers use shipsdek to keep their pets comfortable and stable while Boating. With foam, if scratched or clawed at enough, the product can tear or Rip. The closed-cell PE foam will not absorb water if punctured.

While shipsdek is designed to withstand the marine environment, proper care and storage is important. Under normal conditions, shipsdek is guaranteed to last 3 years. If taken care of, you can expect a lifespan of at least 7 years.

What is the best way to clean shipsdek? Shipsdek cleans easily with dish soap, hot water and a stiff bristle brush. For stubborn area, Simple Green or Dawn Degreaser can be used.

Shipsdek is designed for a near-permanent installation but can be removed.
Left behind adhesive and primer require rigorous and repeated cleaning with several chemicals.

Shipsdek specializes in creating custom templates for every boat and includes professional installation to guarantee a perfect fit and finish. We do not offer DIY kits but we can design and produce pads from customer-provided templates, which customers can then install themselves.
